How To: Changing the PS Vita Wallpaper

February 22, 2012Tags: ,

In this tutorial we will teach you how to change the PS Vita wallpaper, it really is pretty simple so don’t worry, there won’t be much reading to do here.

Once you bypass the lock screen hold down your finger anywhere on the home screen. This will bring up a screen similar to the one below;

As you can see in the bottom right hand corner, there is a small rectangle, the same shape as the PS Vita screen…. Yes, that’s correct, tap that little rectangle.

You will be presented with a screen like the one above, with an array of colors to choose from as well as a weird looking folder in the top left, if you want to use one of the stock background then pick your favourite color, else tap the folder to go to the next screen.

This next screen gives you 3 options; ‘All’ which will list all the images you have on your PS Vita; ‘Camera Images’ which stores all the beautiful pictures you have taken, as well as any images you have downloaded; and ‘Screenshot’, which, as we are sure you have guessed, holds all the screen shots you have taken with your PS Vita.

However, we want to use an image we have downloaded from this wonderful site as our PS Vita wallpaper. So we chose Camera Images. We scrolled through until we found an image we wanted to use and selected it…

And you’re done. Wasn’t too difficult was it? You can have a different wallpaper for every page on your PS Vita, which we think is pretty neat.

Have fun!
